Slugger's Alley offers individualized, year-round professional baseball and softball instruction. Our experienced instructors assist players with improving their skills by implementing effective drills and instruction that stress the fundamentals of the game no matter the age or skill level of the player. At Slugger's Alley, we believe that teaching life-lessons associated with the game is equally important and we do so with a passion. The Slugger's Alley staff teaches the game in such a way that makes it both fun and exciting... creating great baseball memories that last a lifetime.

A graduate of Cartersville High School, Andy played 4 years of ball for East Cobb Baseball. His college ball play included 2 years at Augusta State University and 2 years at Kennesaw State University. He’s been named 1st Team All State Catcher. As a professional catching/hitting instructor who’s knowledge of the game and coaching style has touched many young lives, Andy believes watching a young player develop his or her skills is priceless – the smile on their face makes everything worth it. |

One of Northern California’s top amateur players while at San Mateo High, Val played for the San Francisco Angels semi-pro squad in 2000 and was a Florida Marlins prospect watch in his 2001 senior year. Highly recruited for Division 1 universities prior to enlistment, he went on to join the United States Marine Corps baseball team where he played catcher and infield positions from 2002 to 2004. Known for his selection as an All-Conference utility player, he’s also held professional instruction positions, including the Director of Baseball Ops for the Jackie Robinson YMCA in San Diego, instructing ages 5 through 18. |

A graduate of Alexander High School (2006), Dean was a 3-year member of the Douglas All-County Baseball Team, making MVP and a Team USA 16U Tryout Invitee in 2005. Following his stretch with the East Cobb Astros and East Cobb Yankees he played for the University of Georgia. He was a Top 10 Prospect for the New England Collegiate Summer Baseball League (2007), played for the Cape Cod Summer League and was a member of the College World Series National Runner-up Team (2008). A 7th Round 2009 MLB Draft pick for the Washing Nationals, Dean spent the next two years playing at both Class A and Class A Advanced. |

Missy was a 4-year Varsity Letterman in fastpitch softball at Harrison High School. Softball recognitions include: Marietta Daily Journal Pitcher of the Year, Gulf South Conference Pitcher of the Week, East Cobb’s Continuance of Excellence in Softball, and Atlantic Sun Conference Pitcher of the Week. Her pitching record includes Gold Level travel ball for the East Cobb Softball Association, 2 years at University of West Georgia DII (Gulf South Conference) – broke all pitching records and made All-Conference Team twice, 2 years at Kennesaw State University DI (Atlantic Sun Conference), and 6 years for the ASA Nationals. |

Nicole graduated from Hiram High School in 2006 where she was a 4-year Letter Winner in softball. She played at Division 2 level at North Georgia College and State University for three years. Her North Georgia team recognitions included Peach Belt Conference Champions, Regional Champions, Super-Regional Champions, and a 3rd place finish in the Division 2 College World Series. Nicole has been providing fastpitch softball instruction for over 5 years, is currently coaching a 14U travel fastpitch team, and is also working toward a Personal Trainer and Exercise Therapist Certification. |

Napoleon has 6 years of professional experience. He’s made All Conference while playing for Columbus State University from 1984 – 1988. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1988 as a pitcher. Napoleon was picked up by the Atlanta Braves in 1991 in a round 5 draft. He played AA with the Greenville Braves in 1991 and AAA with the Richmond Braves in 1992 and 1993. As a professional pitching/hitting instructor who’s spent 10 years of developing, instructing and coaching baseball players, he believes in making each athlete more athletic and confident in their abilities no matter what age or skill level. |
